Comments about Lumedyne HRF1 Ring Flash:
I really love the light produced by this ring flash. It has given new life to my portraiture and to my macro work. I only wish the handle didn't protrude from the bottom so prominently (or that it could be repositioned and/or removed to facilitate easier tripod work and handholding.

Comments about Lumedyne HRF1 Ring Flash:
The item is expensive, but I did need it for outdoor work. I used it at one of Vegas dry lake, the images from a ring light is great for fashion type of a image. For indoor work, I just used a Alien Bees Ring Flash, it is self contain and it is much cheaper then the Lumedyne. Both will give out the same type of light.
