The Omega 4500-II LPL is a full-featured, professional 4 x 5" enlarger at an outstanding price. The 4500-II has a slightly lower-wattage lamp (200watt vs. a 250watt), and a shorter chassis and column, with a smaller baseboard than the 4550XLG.
