The Leica Neoprene Case M with Short Front (Black) is a fitted neoprene case made to protect and carry a Leica M series digital camera with a lens up to 86mm. When the stretch covering is removed, it hangs on a loop on the camera's carrying strap to make sure it is not lost. The neoprene case is not only an effective second skin for the camera and lens but also has room for two SD memory cards. The case can be stowed into any piece of baggage.

Comments about Leica Neoprene Case with Short Front:
The neoprene case lightens the load and requires one to pick a lens for the shoot. It is relatively inexpensive and sufficently protects the M9.

Comments about Leica Neoprene Case with Short Front:
Nothing fits a Leica like this Neoprene Case by Leica. Mine is on a M8 with the Leicatime bottom leather case and it fits like a glove. I have both the short and the long front style for different lenses. Once in the neoprene case it gives the camera a minimalistic look and doesn't draw attention to what it's protecting inside. The case is well made and great for a casual carry or for added protection while storing the camera in a larger camera case or bag.

Comments about Leica Neoprene Case with Short Front:
Gives excellent protection for a very pricey camera. When you want to shoot you can roll it up and stuff it in a coat pocket. When on, it's very discreet-looking; it conceals the fact that you are carrying around a super-desirable camera. It fits the camera perfectly when I have a 35mm Summicron and hood on and is readily removable. The Velcro closure doesn't bother me at all. How else would you keep it closed?

Comments about Leica Neoprene Case with Short Front:
This case is nice in that it protects the M9 and a short lens such as the new 35mmm Sumilux f/1.4 ASPH II in a most snug fashion. It also holds a couple of SD cards as well.

Comments about Leica Neoprene Case with Short Front:
Great protection for Leica M9 when carrying it in another bag, purse so that camera is with me whenever I need it. My 50mm Summilux lens (somewhat longer than other 50mm's) just fits and, while the bag doesn't fit as snugly around the camera as I would have liked, it still protects it adequately. It is not, however, well-padded enough to use as protection in the outside world. Two negatives - the velcro closure is very noisy when opened so have the camera out and ready to shoot if you don't want to draw attention to yourself. Also, it would have been great to have room for a spare battery alongside the existing compartments for memory cards. Overall, though, it serves the purpose for which I bought it and I recommend it highly.

Comments about Leica Neoprene Case with Short Front:
I needed something to protect my M8 that was easy enough to fit into another bag. The leather version was too expensive, so this was the next best thing out there... despite the fact that it isn't very snug it casing my M8, I think it will serve it's purpose. (Would have preferred it to be a little snuggier!)

Comments about Leica Neoprene Case with Short Front:
I've been using the Leica Neoprene Case (short version) for about a month and it does the job. I tend to carry my Leica in all kinds of unpadded bags and the camera tends to get bounced around a lot. The Leica Neoprene case has protected my M4-2 from all kinds of rough knocks. The case has a velcro closure at the back that allows quick access to the camera. There are also small pockets under the top flap for items like spare batteries and SD cards. It turns out they're the perfect size for 39mm filters, just the kind needed for many of Leica's smaller lenses; which this what this case is designed for. I'm using mine with the Leica 50mm Elmar-M. There's enough room even with the lens extended and the hood attached. The only downside is also associated with the velcro. It is noisy. I am not a fan of the loud "rrrip" sound velco makes. Otherwise, this is the perfect "rough stuff" case for a small camera such as a Leica M.

Comments about Leica Neoprene Case with Short Front:
I was looking for an inexpensive case to keep my M8 looking clean. Great for short trips from the studio to home during inclement weather. Or when I don't want to carry a complete bag.
