The Profoto AcuteB 600 w/s Lamphead is the mate to the Profoto AcuteB 600 and 600R Generators for use in the field where AC power is not available. It is a powerful yet ultra-compact battery-powered flash pack with the capacity for 160 full-power bursts per charge. The Acute B lamphead features unique modelling light utilizing a high-performance 65 watt halogen lamp that gives you the equivalent brightness of a 90 watt tungsten bulb. Fan-free cooling saves battery life and a frosted glass cover and protective transportation cap saves the lamp and tube from breakage when travelling.

I bought this head to with the Acute B2 600 AirS for outdoor portraits. Worked great! Small and portable and powerful enough for outdoor use. Umbrella holder was hard to find at first and no way to tighten it but held up just fine with no slipping. I would get an extra flash tube and stick it in your bag, if you are going to be on location a lot...never know when you'll need it but eventually you will.
