The Ikan SM101 is a shoe mount adapter for portable monitors. The bottom fits into a standard shoe mounting point, common on almost all prosumer camcorders. The top end is a 1/4-20 male screw that fits Ikan's line of LCD portable monitors. This additional support allows camera operators the ability to attach a display directly to the camera.
