The Billingham Hadley Pro Shoulder Bag (Sage) is a waterproof FiberNyte bag with a photo insert included. The bag can double as a business case or a slightly posh beach bag. The Hadley Pro will accommodate A4 files and a small laptop computer. Constructed of waterproofed FiberNyte cotton canvas with polyester lining using StormBlock butyl rubber and high-density, closed-cell foam throughout. It has a thin profile and a compressible nature to let the weight always stay close to your torso. There are 2 gusseted front pockets that expand and close with quick-acting press studs. Insides are divided and can be rearranged as needed, or remove the padding to make the Hadley a conventional bag.

Very satisfied with its quality and design. Normally it doesn't look like a camera bag. It looks really fancy and great.
Here are the reasons that I rated it for 4 not 5.
It is a little bit heavy. The bag itself is not that heavy, but I put Nikon sb-800, 70-200n, 24-70n and a camera without any power grip, I don't think I can go any long distance trip like this. Also when I put all those gears mentioned above, it looks like a piglet that just ate full. I mean you can put gears this much, but then the shape of the bag is a little bit changed.
Overall, I love this bag because I usually carry only one lens attached to a camera. I do have some other 'square-shaped' bags that I usually carry when I take pictures officially. But when you need a bag that doesn't tell people that you're carrying a camera in there, then this is it.

Comments about Billingham Hadley Pro Shoulder Bag (Sage):
I use this bag for carrying a Leica M8.2 and a set of 5-6 lenses with accessories.
It is waterproof and extremely well made with fine attention to design and detail.
It is very well thought out for access and weather and dust resistance and is well padded for safe carry of photographic equipment.
I wish it came with a shoulder pad but it does not.
All in all a great product.

Comments about Billingham Hadley Pro Shoulder Bag (Sage):
This bag is comfortable to wear. The latches can be easily opened with one hand. My Nikon D7000 fits nicely, laying horizontally, with the 300 mm lens attached.
The bag is silent; it does not creak, squeak, click or pop like other camera bags.
I also own the Digital Hadley, another great bag, but I needed room for an additional lens. The Hadley Pro works very nicely.
There is only one thing I would change. I am fairly tall; so, the bag strap is extended to its limit. It would be nice if the strap were about 12 inches longer.

Comments about Billingham Hadley Pro Shoulder Bag (Sage):
This has been an excellent bag. It is the perfect size for camera, extra lens and flash + computer or tablet and accessories. It is light enough that you don't have to worry about the extra weight of a bag adding onto the weight you already have to carry. Just the right amount of protection- not bulky. Love this bag and would suggest it to anyone!

Billingham bags have to be experienced to fully appreciate their quality. The Hadley Pro size is perfect for my Pentax K-5, a set of primes, a flash, and a zoom, with room for extras in the side pockets. It carries beautifully, moulding its contours to your hip, and looks casually classy. Highly recommended.

Great bag with easy access. In my bag it easily fits Nikon D700, with a 28-300 lens attached. Spare space to carry another lens or a flash. Outside pockets Greta for accessories. Very well made

Comments about Billingham Hadley Pro Shoulder Bag (Sage):
I wanted this bag for a long time. Both for its good looks and features. I've probably spent 3 times more on other products before getting to this. I use it to carry my iPad 2, glasses case, keys, iPhone, earphones, wallet, small notepad, pens and occasional small paperback book. And when I plan to do some shooting around town, I drop the insert in that holds a canon rebel (had to remove the battery grip) w/attached 17-55 f2.8, flash, 100mm f2.8, strap. I plan to drop in a 50mm 1.2 and swap out the 100mm for a 70-200mm f2.8 all will fit fine along with the other stuff mentioned. If more is needed, I reco a larger bag. Big plus on the waterproof fabric and full cover flap, it's been raining a lot this spring. I have the leather pad for the strap...definitely needed. I would reco putting in swivel hardware on the strap, making it removeable and to prevent twisting and possibly a reinforced leather bottom. Other than that, it's a very nice stylish and versatile bag. You won't be sorry.

I bought this bag to carry my M3 while not in use. The craftsmanship in this bag is amazing! If you carry a smaller kit, such as a leica M, or any micro 4/3 camera this bag is awesome. It has 2 areas which will accept A4 sized paper and 2 pouches in front to store things like film keys, wallet etc. The bag has a nice finish and sits really well on the body compared to something like a crumpler or wider bag. The only downfall is the price, but it feels like it will last a lifetime and feels great so it felt like a deal!

Comments about Billingham Hadley Pro Shoulder Bag (Sage):
This has become the only bag I carry. The construction is amazing and it's quite comfortable, though my shoulder starts to hurt after wearing it for more than eight or so hours.
I usually carry my 350D with 50mm f/1.4 and neck strap attached. This takes up about a third of the space in the bag. If I'm planning on spending the day on photography, it also accommodates my 75-300mm, 28mm and flash while still having a bit of room to spare, and that's before taking into account the two front pockets, which hold a small notepad, pen, lens cloth, keys and a memory card case with some room to spare. The bag doesn't look it from the outside but is actually incredibly spacious. The bag is quite deep and so getting a lens out of the bag might be a bit of a pin, especially if you stack the lenses like I do.
I honestly have no complaints about the bag. Stylish, comfortable, not too big, carries all my gear and feels like it will last forever. I wasn't sure if it would be worth the price but it was definitely a good purchase. It blows my old Crumpler out of the water.
One thing to note is that only the insert is padded and not the bag itself. With the insert removed it becomes a standard messenger bag.

Not only solidly made but also fashionable. But it is a little crowded if you want to put two cameras in it (I have a GH1 and Nikon FE2).

The usual exceptional Billigham quality which has no match for it on the market for quality of workmanship and beauty. This bag is extremely practical for DSLR plus lenses for most general picture taking situations. It accomodates a Canon 5D with the 24-105 lens on it plus 70-200 f/4L IS and 17-40 f/4L lenses and 1.4x extender. Small accessories in the front pockets. If you do not need the super wide angle lens and the extender then the 580 EX flash fits in it's place. The removable insert is very handy since I have my Nikon D300 with the 16-85 lens on it plus 70-300 ED VR lens and 10-24mm and SB800 flash in it. When I feel I need the crop sensor camera just switch the inserts with preloaded equipment in less than a minute. I also have a Billingham 345 but this is the one I am using most of the time.

Not very large, but that is why it makes a good day bag for 5d2 and one lens with room left over for flash or other gadgets in the pockets.

Comments about Billingham Hadley Pro Shoulder Bag (Sage):
This bag is not only beautifully made, but extremely practical for a traveler. I can carry my Nikon D300 and two lenses along with all the extras I need for the day. Should I need a book or Laptop and extras bag, I can take out the padded insert and have a very stylish shoulder bag. I tend to shoot quite a bit of outdoor and wildlife pictures and carrying around a large bag or backpack is not practical. The bag has easy entry and rides comfortably in the small of my back. While in London in January, I received many compliments on the bag from the residents of Chelsea!
