This is a nice piece of glass for a 4x3 cam and lens. DO NOT buy for a 16x9 camcorder - it vignettes with the adaptors and no (NO!) zoom through.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

    This product was used in a documentary overseas. I like that the lens provides clarity and an excellent wide angle for filming. It's a bit heavy but that is really not an issue considering how well it works.
