Comments about Creative Labs Soundblaster Audigy SE 4L PCI Sound Card:
I have a mother board that isn't quite Windows 7 compatible. The sound card was a problem. Added the Soundblaster and I have sound again. I didn't realized how 'not good' the sound I was getting was until I heard the same speakers with the Soundblaster. Still exploring all the options that didn't even exist on my old sound card.

Comments about Creative Labs Soundblaster Audigy SE 4L PCI Sound Card:
Looking for an inexpensive card with a good sound in games, video and music? This is what you need. You will not be disappointed to feel the difference with built-in sound card. Especially there is a difference in the headphones of good quality. I did not know about the sound effects in some games, until installed Soundblaster Audigy, as my old built in card had not played them.

Comments about Creative Labs Soundblaster Audigy SE 4L PCI Sound Card:
I had been using the integrated sound IO on my computer. I recently began backing up some old audio tapes at 192K, but it didn't sound very spectacular. I compared online specs from my Intel board sound to the Soundblaster and went to B&H to buy one. It sounded spectacular the minute I played back my first 192K backup. Sold!!!

Comments about Creative Labs Soundblaster Audigy SE 4L PCI Sound Card:
The Creative website advertised this product as supporting Win2k, BUT niether the driver nor applications on the installation CD support Win2k. I have spent hours on at Creative's customer support technical website discovering the compatable driver and supported applications, and waited through several rounds of 1 or more days waiting for the tech support email to answer software compatability questions. When finally installed, the microphone-in function was inadequate to support my headset for voice-to-text and for voice user-interface commands for Dragon Naturally Speaking 10 and I ended up buying a USB mike and bypassing the card. The card works fine for listening to movies with headphones.
