It supports MP3, OGG, WMA, ASF, FLAC, WAV, MPEG4 (video) playback, FM radio receiver and recording, voice recording, line-in recording with direct 1:1 encoding as well as JPEGs and TXT files. There is hardly a source you can't capture and enjoy.

PlaysForSure Playback

The player is fully compliant with the PlaysForSure DRM format. This allows you to play back music that is encoded with PlaysForSure, such as that available from Napster, Rhapsody and other online music services.

Lots of Flash

The U3 carries a lot of utility in its small package. The built-in 4GB Flash memory can store up to 2000 songs. With USB 2.0 interface it also functions as a removable drive for extra backup and portability with file transfer speed up to 35Mbps.

Crisp Color Display

The 1.2 inch 260,000 Color TFT-LCD packs resolution of 160 x 128 for TXT (Text), JPEG (Image) File Viewer (Image scaling, Wallpaper setting) options. And menus? LCD auto off, time adjustment, contrast adjustment, multilanguage support, contrast adjustment are clear, colorful and customizable, too.

Long Playback

Nearly a full day's worth of playback does a lot to lighten your load. The built-in rechargeable lithium-polymer battery offers up to 20 hours of playback time. But that's not all; a normal charge takes three hours.

Five-Way Button Control

One finger gets you there. The iAudio U3 has a front panel Multi-Button Switch: Volume - plus and minus, Fast Forward, Rewind, and Navigation -- one click, no guessing.

Great Sound with Lots of Options

Start with the earphones. They deliver 30mW + 30mW of power. Then select 40 levels of volume. Add your choices in the customizable 5-band equalizer with sound effects: Normal, Rock, Pop, Jazz, Classic, Vocal, User. BBE, Mach3Bass, MP Enhance, 3D Surround sound top it off.
