Steiner's 12x30 Wildlife Binocular is a super-premium compact "twin bridge" roof prism model with more magnification than the usual competing products in the market. Rendered in an earthy brown color which blends in with the landscape, it can be discreetly used around animals.
This compact's chock full of features you'll appreciate-such as great angled fold-down eyecups, close focusing capacity of just 11.5' (3.5 m), and their most extensive multicoatings upon each and every air-to-glass surface.
Steiner's definition of waterproof is the toughest in the industry. The 12x30 Wildlife is nitrogen purged, externally sealed, & individually submerged to assure its waterproofing. It is also tested to withstand a 70°F temperature change without internally fogging. They define the Wildlife Pro as 'mil-spec waterproof'.

Unbelievable clarity out of these binoculars. Used at concerts and Saints games. I think I can actually read the play sheet from my seat. First time having "eye cups", not sure I like them yet. Not for folks who wear glasses (does not affect my contacts).
