This 10-pack of extra-small Magne-Fix Filter Adapter Rings from Cokin is intended to allow camera filters which feature a metal filter ring to be used with camera lenses that lack a front filter thread or other means to directly connect to a filter.
Cameras that are not built to accommodate a filter can include point-and-shoot cameras, webcams, cellular phone cameras, or various camcorders. Each included adapter ring features a peel-off backing that can be removed to expose an adhesive which allows attachment to a flat surface that is 0.50" in diameter. The center of each ring can then accommodate a front lens element that measures up to 0.31" in diameter.
After a Magne-Fix Filter Adapter Ring is attached, mounted camera filters whose filter rings are magnetized, or can be magnetized, and measure up to 0.50" from edge-to-edge may be connected to this adapter ring. Additionally, a separately-available accessory lens or filter from Cokin that is made specifically for extra-small Magne-Fix Magnetic Filter Adapter Rings can be used as well.
