The Giottos MTC 200 Short Center Column replaces the standard column on the following MT-series models: MT 7240, MT 8240, MT 9240, MT 8241, MT 9241, MT 7242, MT 8242, and MT 9242. This allows the user to take full advantage of the variable leg spread on these units, so that you are not inhibited by the length of the column as to how low you can go.
Includes the same retractable hook as found on the original column, which can be used to add stability to the tripod.
