Comments about Sima SFX-10 Video Mixer:
I just got the sfx-10 video mixer and it is a very simple machine to use if you have some video editing experience. I am using it to mix a DVD player with 3 cameras for live broadcast at the school I teach at. I have already been able to get my students to use the equipment with no problem and simplicity. They were actually able to learn the full range of the equipment within an hour and they are middle school students. Thank you for a good product and I hope it continues to serve our purposes for a long time to come. One thing I didn't like was that video 3 and 4 are s-video connections so I had to buy adapters for my other 2 cameras I was running.

Comments about Sima SFX-10 Video Mixer:
It wasn't my first choice, but because of financial reasons, I purchased this product and can say very "satisfied" with the results. Even my son (16), who is new to editing, caught on very quickly how to use the mixer and is very excited about creating projects. Well worth the money.

Comments about Sima SFX-10 Video Mixer:
Great equipment with lots of basic features commonly seen in industrial mixer at less cost. For a low budget production event which requires 4 inputs I wont regret buying this.

Comments about Sima SFX-10 Video Mixer:
This product froze on us during a live webcast, if you are in the market for a small format switcher I would look for something a little more reliable. Perhaps a 3-4 input sony or panasonic switcher. Sima is an entry level switcher if that. I would definatly put this switcher in the consumer category. The problem with this switcher does not change my opinion of B&H by any means, but I just wanted to put my thougts in for any one looking to purchase this product.

Comments about Sima SFX-10 Video Mixer:
We are using this mixer to provide switching between cameras and computer graphics for our church's Sunday webcasts. We make extensive use of the Picture In Picture capabilities during congregational singing to provide online worshipers with words to songs, and during the pastor's sermon to show backup PowerPoint slides. Very clean transitions.
About the only awkward part is switching to and from the S-Video sources. Once you get used to it, though it's not a big deal.
From a price / performance perspective ... this is a winner!
