I purchased this bag for the Slik Pro 500DX Tripod I ordered from B&H. Although the item description for the 500DX does not indicate that it comes with a bag, I saw another customer's review noting that an unpadded bag is included. Sure enough, the tripod did include a snug, unpadded bag. Nonetheless, this bag is somewhat padded (or at least thicker), more roomy and more rugged than the included bag. It easily accomodates the tripod (which is 27.4" long when folded) and the straps make the bag easy to carry. It is a definite step up from the included thin bag.

Hopefully, the bag will prevent me from having to buy another replacement Quick-Release. I usually only leave the Release on while using the tripod, and re-insert it into the tripod head when hiking. The release slipped off and I never noticed it gone.

This is well built and the shoulder strap seems pretty comfortable. I'll be using it for the first time this coming week in Chicago. The only complaint is that it is not as close-fitting as I had hoped-I have the Slik U-212. Overall I'm very happy with the purchase.

This bag is roomy and fits my Slik Pro 700 DX tribod. There is a little extra room in the bag so I am able to stash things like a garbage bag and a rain sleve if I am expecting bad weather. Makes the tripod much easier to carry and store.

Bag is better than the bag included when I purchased my SLIK tripod legs. I just wish this bag was big enough to fit my tripod in! So, just make sure your tripod will fit when you order this. It is more durable and made better than the bag I got with my legs.

I searched this product for it's dimensions as I needed it for my collapsible K&M microphone stand and it works perfectly. It's durable, just the right length so it will fit through a standard door when laying on my dolly with the rest of my PA system, and it also has ample room for extra speaker cables. I'm sure it works great for tripods as well since my mic stand with all the chords I transport definitely weighs more than a standard tripod although since I've had it a relatively short time I'm hoping it will last in the long run......for now I couldn't be happier with it.
