The NEO HDV v3 Software from Cineform is an advanced capture application and compression codec for Windows. The software package includes a video capture application, HD Link, that can be used to acquire MPEG-2 Transport Stream (M2T) files from HDV camcorders. The M2T files are transcoded to the NEO codec and wrapped as Windows AVI or QuickTime MOV files. This allows you to use these files across several applications without the need for transcoding, which can often be time consuming. Quite simply, NEO HDV v3 saves time by allowing you to simplify your HDV workflow.
Eliminates Transcoding
NEO helps to eliminated transcoding when working with a video clip in multiple applications. Because it uses the a standard AVI or MOV video wrapper, files can be imported directly into any application that supports those file formats natively.
HD-SDI, HDMI, FireWire HDV and P2 Compatibility
NEO's HD Link capture application supports import via HD-SDI, HDMI and FireWire. It will even read MXF data from P2 cards, which are used in many popular Panasonic HD camcorders.
NLE and Post Production Software Compatibility
The software codec is compatible with popular post-production software from Adobe, Autodesk, Sony and many more developers. It can be used with any software that supports AVI or MOV files.
