The Axis Communications ACC IR Illuminator 850nm 60° is a powerful IR illuminator for use with an AXIS 213, 221, 223M, 214, 225FD or 232D+ network camera. Utilizing an array of solid state IR LEDs, this unit is capable of illuminating a distance of up to 135 Ft (41m) in complete darkness at a 60° angle. IR illumination can be set to auto activate when it gets dark, making this a very useful tool in applications requiring dependable day and night security monitoring without making people aware of the camera's presence.
Semi Covert Operation
This 850nm model has a more powerful illuminator than that of a 940nm model, allowing the associated camera to see a greater distance in the dark. The trade off however is, that this model does emit a faint red light, while a 940nm unit's IR illumination is completely invisible to the naked eye. This model is therefore best suited for applications where the emphasis is on maximum IR illumination distance rather than complete covertness.
Auto On/Off Operation
IR illumination can be programmed to auto activate at dusk and to deactivate at dawn. This provides hands-free and dependable, 24-hours a day security monitoring.
Long Life Operation
By using an array of solid state and low power consumption IR LED components, this unit will ensure many years (5+ years) of continuous and dependable IR operation. To further increase its longevity, a user can manually lower the unit's IR power to a decreased but adequate level.
For Indoor or Outdoor Use
Encased in a rugged aluminum enclosure, this unit can be readily used indoors or outdoors without the need for a separate protective housing. However, the included power supply is for indoor use only.
