I got the speakers for my PS3 and to watch movies and the sound is very rich a lott of base and trebles I think is perfect better than spending 300 to 400 dollars on a surround sound it does the job

I purchased this set after several friends/family mentioned that are the best and had recently come down in price a bit. Then I found them on B&H for around $50 and I snapped them up! They are VERY high quality with gorgeous clear sound. Also, they are quite nice looking with my monitor/desk setup. (I use them with my desktop pc).

This is a great speaker set. The sub is nice and deep, the down firing mids and tweets are a great touch. Nears the quality of Bose. I would recomend these to anyone who is on a buget but still likes quality components.

Was going to the hospital for more than month and needed a laptop and some speakers. I bought a new computer and went to a pawn shop for the rest. I saw these on the shelf and had a 90 day warranty. I brought everything home to pre assemble it in case I had a weak link. I clicked on an MP3 and had to do a double take, they sounded super, and would play loud enough to get run out of the hospital on a rail.My friends agree that I stole them for the [$] I paid. 5 star yes for a laptop! I notices another thing about them: the down firing mid ranges seem to have some welcome direct/reflecting qualities on the higher CD/MP3 sample rates...content comes from farther left and or right than the physical speaker giving a larger sound stage, but this is not the norm, just a bonus on some tracks.Like I say, it seems to be present on the 256K and 360K sample rates.I also use then with great success with my XM Radio whan I don't want anyone always turning up the volume on my home system with 15" woofers in an apartment. These cause enough trouble hearing with a few peeps over.If I could find them for [$] again, I would buy all they had and sell them for [$] and folks would love them.

These speakers are well worth the money. Sound is very good for the price. Bass is not quite as deep and rich as I like but it gets the job done. I don't use these speakers for my primary music and movie listening so I wasn't concerned with high quality sound for a more expensive speaker system. All in all good sound and look for an inexpensive speaker system.

I purchased for use with my IPod. The fidelity and clarity are high end. Control of base and treble allow for great sound regardless of music. Rock & Roll, R&B, Jazz, all come through crisp and clear. speakers spread out with cords provided and volume range allows for good coverage on a 20'x40 outdoor patio without blasting the crowd.
