Comments about Manfrotto by Bogen Imaging 2909 Super Clamp with Reversible Short Stud:
Because this comes with a reversible 1/4 and 3/8's stud (which seats flush on the super clamp), this clamp is extremely versatile! You'll find that those two size screw heads have been very standardized in this industry! I personally use mine as a means to mount my Zoom H4N to surfaces (like the to my tripod leg, or atop a piano's music rack pointed down to capture audio). I have mounted my tripod head (which almost all tripod heads have a standardized 3/8" socket at the bottom) to tables and surfaces lower than my tripod will allow me to go! If you buy a 3/8" - 5/8" adapter, you extend the possibilities even more (think mic stand boom arms!) ...the list goes on and on!

Comments about Manfrotto by Bogen Imaging 2909 Super Clamp with Reversible Short Stud:
This is a great product to have in your bag. It can be clamped to a table or round tube. When used with the 037 Reversible Short Stud, with 3/8" & 1/4"-20 Threads you can mount a camera for still life photography. You can also use it to mount an umbrella, or a flash. It is extremely strong, so take precaution so you do not break whatever you are clamping it to (a table)

Great for clamping flashes to various objects. Wish it came w/ a ballhead like the justin clamp which I think is flimsy.

Gives you confidence that it's not going to fall off or lose its grip. Whilst it's slightly bulky, especially when packing it in a bag, it will hold a decent weight and not budge. It also feels weighty and built to last!
