The
RP-101 from
Roland is a high-quality digital piano that offers the look and feel of an acoustic upright piano. The full-size 88-key keyboard offers progressive hammer-action with three levels of sensitivity for a realistic playing experience. Three pedals for sustain, soft, and sostenuto provide the same dynamic control you'd find on an acoustic piano.
Stereo sampled piano sounds include subtle nuances such as the sounds of piano strings being struck. Other sounds are included, such as organs and strings, for a total of 17 voices. You can even split the keyboard between two of the voices for dynamic duets. A recording feature lets you save your performances to play back later on.
Great for the new pianist, built-in practice and lesson features make it easy to learn quickly. An internal memory bank of 65 songs lets you play along, and a metronome keeps you in tempo. The built-in stereo speaker system lets you give your first performance without connecting any additional equipment, while two headphone jacks let you listen privately.
