The Sunpak VersiPod Compact Monopod/Tripod is a unique combination of a lightweight, height-adjustable monopod with a fully integrated tripod for cameras, optical devices and almost any other tripod mountable device such as photo lights, microphones, etc.
Its reverse folding legs make it ultra-compact, and allow it to be easily stored in a camera bag or pocket. The versatility extends to its flexibility in height range that goes from a very useful 15" at full extension, down to a very low angle setting of just 3.75". This is made possible with its removable center column and leg angle adjustment collar which is also perfect when room is limited for leg placement. In addition, the VersiPod is a height-adjustable, fully functional monopod.
The VersiPod Compact opens with a turn of the ballhead platform which can be extended and locked with a simple twist. The legs fold out and down and can be adjusted from 12 to 48° using the angle adjustment knob. With the center column removed, the all metal ballhead can be placed on the leg assembly for low angle photography down to an amazing 3.75".
