Giottos SP 82511 Overview

The Giottos AEGIS Professional Optic Screen Protector for the Nikon D2x and D2Xs Digital SLR Cameras is made from world famous German Schott glass. What better endorsement for any glass product?

This is a great way to protect your valuable LCD at minimal cost. After all, you spent lots of money for that digital camera. Why risk damaging the LCD with fingerprints, dirt, grime or something worse? In addition, the AEGIS can prevent damage from incidental impact, abrasion or scratches. The coatings act as reinforcement for the glass. The rigidity of the glass surface reaches 8-9 and the elastic pressure is 4kg/cm2 to help it withstand impacts.

It is easily applied with the help from TESA 4972 very thin filmic double side tape (also from Germany).

12-layer AR Coating technology from "LEYBOLD" Germany protects the LCD from UV, improves the color quality and prolongs the life of the LCD
Special Ultra Low Reflection Layers reduce light reflections and aberrations from the CCD
The coatings reinforce the glass to withstand impact of up to 4kg/sq cm
Thanks to the pre-attached 3M double sided tape it is easily applied; It is sealed and will prevent liquid, or dust from getting on the LCD display
Resistant to acid and alkali which helps prolong the life of the LCD
No air bubbles and no diffraction patterns - no ghosting
