The Audix MB1245A Micros Series Microphone and Boom Stand is a miniature profile, small-diaphragm condenser microphone for capturing instruments in recording and sound reinforcement applications. The package includes the Audix MicroBoom. The Microboom is a 50" (127cm) carbon fiber rod and clip for all Micro Series microphones. The boom includes a clip for placement on standard microphone stands and is an ideal solution for overhead microphone placement.
The microphone itself measures just 1.96" (50mm) in length and features an integrated preamplifier. Its wide frequency response and low noise ensures transparent reproduction of percussion, drums, guitar, vocals and much more. The cardioid polar pattern minimizes off-axis noise and feedback caused by nearby monitor speakers and other sources. The included 25' cable features a standard XLR connection. A microphone clip, hanging clip, windscreen and pouch are also provided.
