I use it with a 40d which has 17 raw shot buffer. For the price[...]16gb is a great deal and I get about 1200 shots in raw on my 40d. It boggles my mind how they can get so much memory in something so small.

I own a D700 and got this based on its amazingly cheap price given that it is a 16GB card.
It had bad sectors out of the box and even after mapping those out in a PC, it caused CHA errors on my D700 due to its very slow write speed. If you search for CHA and Kingston 16GB Elite Pro, you will see many people are having issues with this thing. Great price for sure, but I don't trust this card (I have lost several shots because of it) and only keep it around for emergency use.
Pay a little more and get a better and a faster card, and stay away from this one.

I am a portrait and wedding photographer shooting primarily in RAW format, so lots of huge files. I recently purchased two of these 16GB cards and I am so thrilled with them! I have used them at some of my weddings this summer and it is so nice not to have to worry about carrying a lot of smaller cards with me to switch out. I highly recommend this size card to anyone shooting large volumes of images or images in RAW format. They each seem to hold about 500-600 images in RAW format on my Canon 7D.

As a professional photographer, I have never had a problem with performance or reliability with Kingston memory cards including the Compact Flash cards. These are no exception and perform excellently with photography and HD video. I bought two of these along with my 7D from B&H... I should've returned the cards, but I kept thinking that I was doing something wrong for them to buffer all the time. Before purchasing, I read a few reviews right here on B&H and saw that other folk had issues with these cards not working on their 7D, but MANY others didn't and so that prompted me to buy the Kingstons. I wish I hadn't. Not only a waste of money, but a waste of time as I refused to be beaten and tried everything to get these cards to work... so I must assume that some cards are okay and some are not. Just odd that BOTH of my cards are just not fast enough.
Don't take a chance and think it won't happen on your camera... my advice... pony up and pay more for a faster card.

I bought 3 of these, based upon other reviews. I should have paid more attention to a few comments about write times. On a Canon 7D, the buffer rapidly overloads the card. If I filled up the buffer (15 full size raw images), it took the card 86 seconds to accept all the shots. Unless you are doing very slow portrait work, I don't see how this is usable in any of the latest SLRs

I use this product as my go-to memory card when shooting portraits, weddings, and landscapes. It writes fast, reads fast, and hold about 800 images when shooting at 12 megapixels RAW.
Also reasonably priced, so that I will likely purchase 2-3 identical back-ups.

I just purchased two additional 16GB cards which to me have the best valuse for the size. I own and have used both 8GB an 16GB Kingston cards of this model for the last three years and have never had a failure or a slow card when shooting at high speed with my canon 7D or recording video with my 5D Mark II.
