I bought this tripod along with my Flip Mino HD and it works great. It is really great for setting it up in a "webcam" format or just holding the camera in place while taking videos of yourself. The three legs are very easy to maneuver and reposition and don't get stuck in an old positon like other bendy tripods do. This is a great product, you'll regret passing it up.

you can use it almost anywhere; it's not great at hooking on to everything, but seems like it could work for most. it would nice if the legs were longer to use to latch on to more items

The Flip Video camera that I purchased is tiny. When I am the subject of a video this little tripod works perfectly. It holds the camera still and enables me to set the shot up quickly and easily.
You can't go wrong for under $ 15!!

I feel I have to mount my Flip on SOMETHING. This tripod is small, easily transported, and will support the camera well enough. It's legs are a bit too stiff, but can be formed well enough to stabilize the camera. The entire arrangement is a little top heavy when assembled so if you are going to use the camera in anything other than a protected area(no jolts or vibration, etc) I would dust tape it down to be safe.
