Comments about Sea & Sea MDX-D300 Housing f/ Nikon D300:
I have used this housing for half a year now. It is just fantastic to work with. All controls you will ever need, at the fingertips. The build quality is excellent too. And nice and compact for travel. With this housing Sea&Sea has positioned themselves on the top of the line, together with far more expensive makers. LarsG

Comments about Sea & Sea MDX-D300 Housing f/ Nikon D300:
Got mine a few days ago. Fits the camera like a glove. Can't be made more compact. Controls are all very well placed. Camera can be taken out without removing dome/lens with 12-24/4.0 installed. Workmanship is excellent. The housing is machined from block, not molded as they use to be. Took about 5 minutes to install the gears on lens, and camera in housing on first try. And it all worked!
Not dived it yet, will try to come back to you after diving with it.
I have dived with cameras for 20years. This is my housing #3 after 5 Nikonos V.
Sea&Sea NX90Pro was a positive experience, Aquatica D100 was not. And the blue O-rings at Sea&Sea semms to last forever. Lost the Sea&Sea housing once in breaking reef environment off west coast of Norway. Found it after 9 days. Scratched corners, one small drop of water inside. Turned everything on, took a photo of the dive boat when I surfaced.
