Canon DC310 DVD Camcorder
Canon's DC310 DVD Camcorder is an affordable and convenient way to record all your memories. The camera captures video and stills straight to DVD for immediate playback on your TV, after finalization, so there's no need to worry about transferring data to DVD or other media outside of the camera. DVD-R/-RW discs can hold up to 30 minutes of footage in standard mode and 60 minutes in long play mode. In addition, DVD-R DL discs can store up to 108 minutes of video.
The DC310 features Canon's exclusive 41x Advanced Zoom and 16:9 Widescreen HR Recording. In addition, you'll benefit from the 1/6" CCD image sensor for clean, clear video and stills. Other features include a Quick Start function and DIGIC DVII for improved color reproduction.
- DVD Recording
- Record video and stills directly to DVD for playback in any standard definition DVD player, after finalization. DVD-R/-RW discs can hold up to 30 minutes of footage in standard mode and 60 minutes in long play mode. In addition, DVD-R DL discs can store up to 108 minutes of video. The Visual Index allows for fast retrieval of scenes. You can also create a playlist of your favorite scenes in-camera.
- Digital Stills
- The DC310 doubles as a digital still camera. Special Scene Modes ensure that you get the best possible shot every time you shoot, while Progressive Photo and 9-point AiAf (Auto Intelligent Autofocus) make sure that your images have clean and clear detail.
- Widescreen HR Recording
- Widescreen HR recording captures your video in full 16:9. Using the 2.7" LCD monitor you can compose in the same widescreen format, leaving no doubt in your mind that what you saw on the screen is what was recorded.
- Quick Start
- Never miss the moment again because you're waiting for your camcorder to start up. Pressing the Quick Start button once puts your camera in stand-by mode. Begin recording in under a second when you hit the button again.
- DIGIC DVII
- DIGIC DVII improves image color reproduction in skin tones and for footage or stills shot in extremely light or dark situations. Image noise is also reduced thanks to a hybrid noise reduction system.
- 41x Advanced Zoom
- Canon's own Advanced zoom extends the power of the camera's optical zoom in wide angle and telephoto positions with nearly no loss in image quality.
- Compact Design
- The DC310 weighs less than a pound, it is small enough to fit in one hand. It's perfect for travelers and recording all day events.
- PictBridge
- Print directly to any PictBridge compatible printer from your DC310 or via removable SD memory card.

Bought this camera to use with a projector and it functions like a dream. The only negative to it is that its really small for my large palms, but i guess that isnt so bad either.
