Comments about Apple USB Ethernet Adapter:
On a Mac with Snow Leopard this USB ethernet adapter installs easily and is automatically detected. There is no driver installation for OS X. It installs identically on an Ubuntu Linux system as well. Because it's USB based there is no need for a specific hardware driver here either.
Operation is transparent and flawless at 100Mbs.

Comments about Apple USB Ethernet Adapter:
While I was not able to use the USB Ethernet Adapbter because I decided ultimately to use a wireless router; nevertheless, the Apple USB Ethernet Adapter is an excellent product. Apple's name alone is a good testimoney. I highly recommend this product.

Comments about Apple USB Ethernet Adapter:
Bought to avoid replacing bad ethernet card on my iMac. Plugged it in, and it took all of about 3 seconds for the iMac to recognize it and get a "connected" status.
Certainly a less expensive alternative to an ethernet card!
