Sony Cyber-shot DSC-S780 Digital Camera
The Sony Cyber-shot DSC-S780 Digital Camera is a sleek and compact camera with 8.1 megapixel resolution, a 3x optical zoom lens, high ISO 1250 sensitivity for low-light shooting and Stamina Battery Power which provides extended battery life and shooting capacity when using fresh AA-sized batteries.
The bright 2.5" LCD screen makes it easy to frame your shots and view your images. It has 22MB of internal memory so you can shoot pictures and video clips with your camera right away, or you can purchase an optional Memory Stick Duo media card to expand your shooting capability.
The DSC-S780 is also very easy to use with convenient scene modes and fully automated shooting features.

- The advanced Super HAD (Hole Accumulated Diode) CCD of the DSC-S780 allows more light to pass to each pixel, increasing sensitivity and reducing image noise.
- 3x Optical Zoom Lens
- The 3x zoom provides the equivalent of 35 - 105mm focal length (in 35mm terms) to help bring distant subjects closer and let you frame shots quickly for better composition, and the Smart Zoom feature intelligently "crops into" the central portion of interest in your photo, helping avoid the image degradation caused by the typical digital zoom found on other cameras.

- The camera provides high sensitivity of ISO 1250 to permit taking shots in low light or you can shoot without flash to preserve the mood.

- The DSC-S780 includes several convenient photo modes to choose from including Auto, Program Auto, and Scene Selections for Twilight, Portrait, Landscape, and other shooting environments.

- The DSC-S780 can capture Video Clips with sound at a resolution of 320 x 240 (QVGA) with a high frame rate of 30 fps to provide smooth motion.
- Internal and Expandable Memory
- The DSC-S780 includes 22MB of built-in memory, so you can start shooting right away. The camera also has a slot for optional Memory Stick Duo media with which you can expand the camera memory and store hundreds of high resolution images.

- An on-screen Function Guide makes it easy to learn the camera functions by providing a simple text explanation of each camera setting, right on the LCD screen.

I owned the previous version of this cyber-shot and this one is an upgrade, with a higher pixel rating. The LCD screen is larger, the controls are simplified. You do lose the view finder. The speed of taking the image has increased.

Camera works as intended for real estate shots. Size is nice, not too small to be comfortably held. Build quality is a little flimsy on the battery door, but that's too be expected at this price point. Connects to computer through USB or you can remove the memory card, but it's part of the flimsy battery door so I don't recommend that method.
