Comments about Manfrotto 3-Section Extension Pole (35- 92") (Black):
I use the 3 section extension and a superclamp for field recordings in areas that I can't setup a tripod. Theatre settings clamped to arm rests, as well as clamped to the ceiling in small bars where I don't want to be setup in the middle of the crowd but need my microphones to be there. Lightweight and well built like all manfrotto products

I got this to extend my light stand from 13 feet to now 20 feet. I am a wedding videographer and my main purpose for this extension is to get microphones up to the high speakers in churches. Works like a charm!

Comments about Manfrotto 3-Section Extension Pole (35- 92") (Black):
I got this to use for my over head lighting system in my studio. I was looking for a telescopic pole, however didn't realize just how long this thing was....lol. Too long to use for my intended purpose, so I took apart a smaller light stand I have and use the two small extension sections to hang my lights and used this item to make an almost brand new light stand. Everything fit...success.

Comments about Manfrotto 3-Section Extension Pole (35- 92") (Black):
Well made! Does exactly what I needed it to do. I put it on a heavy duty light stand to create a streetlight effect on an automobile shoot. It held a lightweight studio strobe with a small bounce umbrella. It was perfectly secure but it was kind of unnerving seeing my light that high. I'm buying one or two more to raise my lights to light dancers on a stage.

Comments about Manfrotto 3-Section Extension Pole (35- 92") (Black):
i use this for small venues where mounting a stand on a table or wall. i use the superclamp to mount. i like the height for mics being placed above audience to achieve better sound quality. a bit of overkill if hanging over a balcony but still works. i have a outdoor tripod 25' in height, but too bulky for indoors, this pole is awesome, i also carry the 36" for balconys and if i need more height i can attach this pole to the 36", but 8' is all you really need.

These are great for attaching them to a Superclamp and hanging lights from the ceiling in my studio.
They are adjustable in length and my lights can be either be up close to the ceiling, or nearly touching the floor! Not a complaint about them!

Comments about Manfrotto 3-Section Extension Pole (35- 92") (Black):
I use this to boost microphones above the 13-foot limit of my standard stand. However, when you are at that height with anything, shot bags must be used AND the stand may be damaged or broken with any added lateral stress. I would never use this pole on a fully extended stand in any amount of wind. I add 20-30 pounds of weight at the bottom of the stand.
