Intova Nova Wide-Angle Waterproof Torch
The Intova Nova Wide-Angle Waterproof Torch with its high intensity 4.8W LED diode is a practical and convenient dive light. You could use it to look under ledges and to restore natural color underwater. The light is also perfect for night dives or as a back-up for cave and other overhead environments. It is submersible to 400' (120 m).
The torch is made of anodized aluminum making it extremely durable. The light produces an extremely wide-angle bright, white beam, that makes is a perfect light source for many on land applications. The wide beam makes this light ideal for use as a underwater video light when used with a point & shoot camera.

Great dive light. It's compact, with a wide angle beam and very bright for the size. I've been diving with Intova lights for years and they last. I have not had one flood yet. Note: As the batteries are rather expensive, I use rechargeable. I think CRC123. You can buy the non rechargeable cells for a buck a shot online. [@] sells them for $10 so watch out, you can get fleeced if you need battery's on the road.

Mounted 2 of the wide angle Intova lights on my helmet with my GoPro video. The lights converged about 20 feet in front of me. Perfect lighting without any hot spots. Got some good footage of the Andrea Doria. They're a little heavy, so the helmet kept tipping forward a bit. Nothing I can't compensate for with some strap adjustments and maybe a counterweight. In all, a great purchase.

Pro Underwater Videographer.
Perfect Size for a backup light rubber-banded to your BC shoulder strap.
Wide angle version much wider beam than most torches which is good for recreational diving. Metal construction is impressive.
10 hours on the batteries (the ones it it ships with) is almost true, maybe 9 is safer to say.
The batteries can be $12 a pair.
I'm ordering a second one as a backup backup

Used for day dives and for back-up on night dives. Well machined body, compact and light. Delivers a wide-angle white beam. Very good value. Non-standard batteries will increase cost over time and add inconvenience, but they do last a long time.

Great light for the money. Small, lightweight, extremely bright and long burn time (8 hrs). Great for travel.Super utility as well as dive light. Recommended by a cave dive instructor. it was his back up light. Now my primary dive light as a recreational diver. Best small dive light I have found in over 30 years of diving. Batteries also small and lightweight (3V Lithium x2), can be expensive. Best to buy them from B&H Photo at [$]. My only criticism is that I would like to see a locking on-off switch.Steven A.
