Impact Collapsible Circular Reflector Disc - Gold/Silver - 42"
This Impact Collapsible Circular Reflector Disc is a versatile lighting tool for in the field and in the studio. It allows you to bring out the shadow detail in your subject, using available or studio lighting. In addition, the colored surface allows you to modify the color of your subject. Your choice of color -- silver or gold -- will be determined by the lighting conditions and your personal preference.
This 42" disc is suitable for a 3/4 length portrait and a medium-size still-life setup. It folds down to 1/3 its open size and comes with a storage sleeve. We suggest the purchase of a pivoting arm and stand to hold the disc where needed -- especially if you are working without an assistant.
- Gold creates a warm, summery feel that works great with skin tones near sunrise or sunset.
- Silver produces a neutral-colored highlight that works beautifully as a fill light source for both product shots and indoor/outdoor portraits.

I've used for on location portrait sessions. It's inexpensive considering the size...annoying to fold when you first try it, but looked up a tutorial to find a foolproof way, and now it's super easy. If you are in the market for a reflector definitely recommend.

I've only owned this product a week and I've used many times already! It's a great size and works exactly how it's suppose to.
I' mean it's a reflector...what more is there to say...it reflect light!

How I ever took outdoor pictures without these, I shall never know.
I photograph children mostly, and being light on gear is the only way to go. These reflectors keep me and my assistant ready for each candid moment.
You just have to be aware of how strong the sun can reflect off these especially toward mid day, because they can be blinding to your subjects.

These are very big and very bright, by which I mean they can even be used as key lights indoors reflecting 500 watt lamps (for video, in my case). I know that's not their primary use, but it works in a pinch. Do note that 42'' is pretty big for handheld purposes, but it's certainly doable. Just don't let the wind blow you away! These do their job great, and the price is hard to beat.

this reflector is great for adding a nice light to your subject. it conveniently folds up to about 1/4 of it's size for easy storage. the gold side of the reflector makes for a beautiful warm tone on your subject.
