Great book! It is nice to see each lens in the Canon lineup and its description. I am currently working on my lens wish list (I am sure that all photographers have one!), and it is nice to see and read the descriptions of each of Canon's lenses. It is a substantial book, more that 250 pages, that will keep you wishing for a long time to come!

This is a great book to own if you own cannon cameras. The information about each lens or lens group is fantastic. The photos used to illustrate the lens' capability are clear and helpful.
The only problem with owning the book: you will want to purchase more lenses. The good news: you will know which ones are better for you.

Outstanding book with lots of reference information and superb pictures. The contents are available online as a free PDF file, but the book is so nice that it's well worth paying for (as well as making a nice coffee table book). Highly recommended.

I gave this a 5 star because I feel its a must have for any Canon DSLR user. It bought for me as a gift and was like "ok, a book?" but then after going through it I realized how amazing this book is and gives a description, uses, specs etc on every EF lens from the 18-55 kit lens to the highest end L series. It gives so much information is not even funny with a LOT of high quality pictures on quality glossy paper.

An excellent reference on the Canon family of lenses. They explain what could be very esoteric lens specifications in easy to understand terms.
The illustrations are very well done. Canon used a very high grade paper The book is very high quality. It is an excellent buy for a very reasonable price.
