I first used the card with my nikon D70. I shot mostly RAW and got around 350 shots per card. I also shot a card full (well over 1,000) on high quality and largest size jpeg. It moved quickly and loaded nicely onto my MacBook Pro with no problems. Plan to get another one in the near future.

This card is fast and I expect a 300x to be fast. I gave this item 3 star ratting because of one of my three cards. When shooting a bicycle race at 5.6 fps, one of the cards kept giving me a card read error and locked up the camera. I did not have time to change the card. I had to stop, remove the battery, reinstall the battery and start shooting again until it locked up the camera again. I believe that this is an isolated incident, the card does have a lifetime warrantee, but what a hassle, many lost shots for such an expensive card.

Big storage cards are wonderful but if you backup on DVDs the 4GB is ideal. 300 is a good speed.

Just got back from a five day corporate shoot, and the cards performed flawlessly. I bought two of the 4GB 300X cards to go with my 8GB 233X card, and I have had no problems with any of these Lexar cards. I find the 4GB cards to be the perfect size to shoot with all day, and still be able to download quickly.

I needed a new high capacity CF card and Lexar made it. I am really getting into a lot of different types of photography artistic, wedding, and automotive hobbiest. Whether I am printing my own photos at home or carrying the card to a photo kiosk for making large numbers of prints this CF card is perfect and it protects my work.

Comments about Lexar 4GB UDMA 300x CompactFlash Card:
I have other capacity CFs including a couple of 8gigs but the 4gig fits very conveniently on a DVD. The other thing I like about this capacity card is that if disaster should strike with an 8 or higher you've lost a lot more work.
This card is fast and reliable.

Comments about Lexar 4GB UDMA 300x CompactFlash Card:
I bought my first Lexar 4 GB 300X CF Card for my Nikon D200. When I got my Nikon D300 I decided I should get another one for the added storage. These cards read fast, and they download data incredibly quick. On my HP Media Machine, it will download 4 GB in five to six minutes. I have never had either of them give me any problems. I shoot weddings and never doubt for a second that my Lexars are going to do their job.

Comments about Lexar 4GB UDMA 300x CompactFlash Card:
The first thing you'll notice about this card is that it's SOLID. It's noticeably heavier than other pro level CF cards, with clean lines and little space between the materials. Speed wise, it's what you'd expect. It's on the low end of write speed for this class of cards, so if you're used to using an earlier generation of cards it's a major improvement, but if you shoot continuous RAW in crazy high res, you may want to buy something a little faster. Of course if you do that, you probably know that you need a faster card.
Great card overall, plus the availability of photo recovery software should it ever bum out, and the inclusion of Lexar's lifetime warranty make it a seriously appealing product.

My 50D shot a little faster than it processed during burst mode. The camera stopped shooting. I did not expect that with this card. My expertise is very limited so that could be due to something I did. I will have to check on the settings.
