I use some older telephoto lenses adapted to a MFT body. Most are very heavy, and lack a tripod collar. This Lens Support enables me to mount that lens/camera combination on a tripod with the weight centered over the tripod head. This eliminates any excessive strain on the camera/adapter mounts. It works well! But note that it is quite heavy. That said, I am still glad to have it!

Very sturdy and well built. It works on most tripods and especially great for the Nikon P1000. It lacks instructions. You have to figure it out on your own but it is not hard to do.

The velcro strap on the Manfrotto 293 Telephoto Lens Support with Quick Release can expand upto a 105mm circumference to hold the lenses steady.

Would this work for the Tamron 18-400 telephoto attached to a Nikon D3200 or Z6 II?

The Manfrotto 293 Telephoto Lens Support with Quick Release is only compatible with lenses 7.9" to 11.6" in length; the Tamron 18-400mm lens is only 4.88" long, so it is not compatible with this device.

will this work with a Panasonic Micro 4/3 body and their 100-300mm telephoto? I have a g7 and a Gx85 and may get a GH5 or or G95.

This is made for a 100-300mm lens to any brand DSLR camera. This to prevent to lens from falling off due to it's own weight. As long as your lens is 5 inches long. Someone from B & H recommended me this. I haven't used it yet unless I m birding. Good luck.
