The Astro Design DM-3400 is a 56" LCD monitor designed to accommodate the emerging ultra-high resolution era of digital filmmaking. Featuring a panel four times the resolution of 1080p (refered to as 4K) images will appear just as clear as 35mm film! Cameras capable of shooting in 2K and 4K, such as the Red Digital Cinema RED ONE, will take full advantage of these capabilities.
Integrated HUD
Astro Vision's uniquely designed integrated heads up display (HUD) shows important information without interfering with the image. When framing is critically important, information superimposed on top of an image can be distracting, often leading to poorly composed shots. With the DM-3024, the operator can breathe easy knowing that they'll always see the complete picture.
High Viewable Angle
A 178° vertical and horizontal viewing angle ensures that you can continue to view the LCD from virtually anywhere which can be very useful during productions where space is limited.
Modular Scalability
The monitor supports input modules making the unit extremely versatile.
