I have used this product on 1 job so far. The tripod is nice and light to carry up and down steps and yet it is very smooth and stable.

Comments about Barber Tech SPT1 STEDDIEPOD Tripod with Soft Bag:
I use tripod for my Panasonic DVX 100B, it works well. I was a little skeptical because the head is plastic, or graphite, whatever it is it is not metal. But that is reflected in the price. It does pan well, is always smooth, and doesn't have any shake.
