High Quality Projection

DLP chip technology ensures that every picture is displayed in a seamless, finely detailed manner. To enhance dark scenes and provide crisp text and graphics, the DLP optical system and Sharp optical technology work together to create a 2200:1 contrast ratio and high brightness of 2300 lumens for a clear picture in virtually any lighting situation.

Employs a 3x color wheel with six color segments including yellow and cyan, added to red, green, blue and white, providing high-accuracy image reproduction. The color wheel uses an ultra-quiet cooling fan to reduce distracting fan noise to an almost unnoticeable 29dB (Eco Mode).

A DVI input terminal enables virtually noise-free images from digital sources. The terminal also complies with HDCP (High-Bandwidth Digital Content Protection) to support HD digital video content. High-speed on/off switching also helps deliver smooth full-motion video.

Inputs/Outputs

Interfaces with PC and Mac laptop and desktop computers, as well as DTV and HDTV formats for connection to DVD players, cable and satellite boxes, HDTV tuners and video game consoles.

Computer inputs include 15-pin D-sub terminal (in/out) and DVI-I with HDCP. Has composite and S-Video inputs with L/R audio jacks, variable audio output and RS-232 interface. Variable audio output allows users to control the audio level right from the projector.
