The Holga 135BC camera is desired by art photographers the world over. Reminiscent of the Diana camera of the 1960s and 70s, characteristic vignetting focuses the viewer's eye and adds to visual impact. This version of the Holga differs from the standard version in that it features an internal mask which "cuts" the corners creating a soft vignetting effect. Hence, the name "Black Corner" version.
A Holga has four focus marks on the lens barrel. Simply rotate the barrel to the setting that most closely corresponds to your situation. Feel free to use your own setting that might fall between these icons.

Comments about Holga 135BC 35mm Camera with Built-in Lens and Black Corners:
of this camera. The photos come out great for a Holga. It's nice to get away from Digital for a while and go back to film. It's easy to use and you have four focus settings to choose from and you also have a bulb setting. What I don't like is that it does not have an indicator that tells you if the film is advancing properly. I use this camera with black and white film along with my digital camera. I would recommend this camera to others

Comments about Holga 135BC 35mm Camera with Built-in Lens and Black Corners:
For the price this camera is amazing. The style of the photos that come out when you print them are original and need no post editing. The only flaw is that the lens cant zoom in or out, and the focus only shows up on the prints, not when you look through the viewfinder. The black corners give each photo a very artistic look. The 35mm film size is great because you can have it developed at any local pharmacy or grocery store. THUMBS UP

Comments about Holga 135BC 35mm Camera with Built-in Lens and Black Corners:
I got this to bring to my semester abroad in addition to a friend's standard Holga. Even though I wish it could take square pictures, the ease of being able to develop 35mm film in a foreign country is worth the sacrifice. I've gotten some great shots!

Comments about Holga 135BC 35mm Camera with Built-in Lens and Black Corners:
I really love this camera. it's simple and fun and it takes grainy, whimsical photographs like most Holgas do. The biggest complaint I've heard is that the vignetting doesn't show up, but i've had plenty of success getting the dark corners... especially when the subject is bright or well lit. it's a bit of a different quality compared the Holga120's but that doesn't mean it doesn't take great pictures. I love 35mm cameras and it's definitely nice to get your roll developed around the corner at a one hour photo. If you want an easy and fun 35mm toy camera, this one is the way to go.

Comments about Holga 135BC 35mm Camera with Built-in Lens and Black Corners:
I had high hopes for the 35mm version of the Holga having used the 120-film version for many years. Maybe it's the film or the way it is processed, but this 35mm camera makes photos that look like any old point-and-shoot camera. It's just not quirky like the 120 and lacks the artifacts you'll find in photos made with the original version.
If you want the fun and surprise of a Holga- but are thinking you'll save a few bucks on processing - keep looking. This Holga just doesn't do the trick.
