Comments about Canon PowerShot SD990 IS Digital ELPH Digital Camera (Silver):
I took the camera to Mystic Connecticut and took pictures at the seaquariuim and at the sea port. I have also taken family and baby pictures.
The results have been consistantly excellent. I am able to make 13x19 prints which are extremely sharp and have very good color. The menu is very easy to use and understand as are the functions. The pictures do record a bit slowly but not so much as to be a problem

Comments about Canon PowerShot SD990 IS Digital ELPH Digital Camera (Silver):
My wife and I use this camera when we are on the go and dont want to pack around our SLR's. It is great for vacations and casual photography for the photo enthusiast.
I love the overall functionality of the camera.
The construction is sound but I am a bit worried about the battery and card cover which has a latching mechanism that seems a bit flimsy

Comments about Canon PowerShot SD990 IS Digital ELPH Digital Camera (Silver):
Camera is very easy to use, especially if you take a few minutes to read through the book. In auto mode you can take pictures without any thoughts about your settings at all. If you want to get a little more advanced there are modes for the beach, snow, night, etc. These settings really make a difference and are not hard to use at all. As with my old Canon Powershot, this camera takes Great pictures.
