Enjoyed this product greatly. I used this to film an indoor, self-lit project and the results were fantastic- little to no grainy resolution and a clear and crisp image!

This is a great film for the obvious reasons - you want to be able to shoot on Super 8 but you are in a low-light situation. I found in telecine that it did not transfer very well. It's not just graininess; it's a quality issue. I shot a film on both the 500T stock and a 100 Reversal (ektachrome I guess, forget) and though both looked nice, the 100 Reversal had more of that 'super 8' look that we all strive for - it was cooler-hued (before color correct) and had a solider look.
So though this is very useful, practically, I'd do a little more work and light for the 64/100 reversal stocks.

I had written a review of this film based on an experience I had with it about 5 years ago, using both negative and reversal films on the same project.
I recently shot another project with both the 500t and Kodak ektachrome and was extremely pleased to find that the 500t actually looked better than the ektachrome!
It handled low-light beautifully, the grain was nice, and the contrast was far better than that of the Ektachrome. The Ektachrome was too contrasty, making some images almost useless.
The 500t footage was just beautiful and still retained the distinct character of Super 8 film, without the excessive worry you'd have with a low ASA film or with reversal.
I highly recommend!!!!

A high speed film featuring several technical innovations that deliver improved exposure latitude-so you can capture an amazing amount of shadow detail with noticeably lower grain even in near darkness--i can't believer it's super 8!--, or rely on the extended highlight latitude and follow the action into bright light without worrying about blown-out details.
