For all of you which are asking yourselves the same questions as I did:

- YES, it will work the same as an Olympus MMF-1/MMF-2 adapter, it's basically the same thing.

- YES, this adapter has the same metallic construction as the first generation Olympus adapter (the MMF-1, which costs almost twice the price when you can find it).

- YES, it costs even less than the Olympus MMF-2 adapter, which has a flimsy plastic construction.

A no brainer, isn't it ?

Oh, and you get a nice "Lumix" body cap with it. It's always exotic on a Olympus body :)

For a reasonable price, this sturdy adapter from Panasonic allows me to mount my Olympus 50mm f2.0 macro lens on my new Panasonic Lumix GH2 camera. The easy-to-mount adapter consistently enables me to produce with my new M4/3 camera the sharp images to which I had become accustomed when the lens was mounted on my older four-thirds camera. Granted, I'd like the adapter to be thinner, but then the lens wouldn't be positioned properly.

It works. The metal appears strong and so far it's holding the Olympus 35-100mm lens on the AF100 for long periods of time. I also have the Z-M-UB Mini Baseplate by Zacuto (a must have) and the Z-M-UB Mini Baseplate by Zacuto to help with support.

I can use my Olympus lenses on Panasonic G10 including 70MM-300MM Oly

I use this adapter on my Lumix GH-1 for the Leica 25mm f1.4 D. The adapter provides full AF for still pictures, but no AF in video mode. AF is noisy (because of the adapter, not the lens). (Manual focus is a snap because of the contrast of the lens at f1.4 and the focus magnification feature of the Lumix GH-1.) The ability to have access to superb four thirds lenses on micro four thirds cameras, makes any limitations in this sturdily built adaper easy to live with.

This is a M43 to 43 adapter. I use this to mount great lenses like the Olympus 14-54 2.8~3.5 and the Sigma 105mm 2.8 Macro to my GH1.

Solid and no problems.

the adapter was used in order to fit really old, summitar laika lenses which belong to my father, the adapter really worked well an now i can enjoy about $75,000 in old lenses that otherwise i could not have used, this amount was bided and offered at an auction at christies.

I got this for a Panasonic GF1 to use with my 4/3 lenses from my L1. Works very well. There is NO loss of light like you'd normally see on adapters (ie. your f2.8 will still be f2.8!). Best of all, it works with the aperture ring on my D Vario Elmarit 14-50. Awesome!

Down side: does not autofocus on that lens. Will manual focus normally (with functioning focus assist, you know, the zoom in thing) without any adjustment in settings. This is a technical choice made by Panasonic and is a characteristic of the body, not the adapter. Perhaps a firmware update will change this in the future, but I haven't seen one as of this writing.

Having lots of 4/3 glass, this product saved me alot of additional money.. Some lenses work absolutely perfect, while others require manual focusing, no real downside to speak of..

I use this adapter on my Olympus E-PL1 (poor man's pen) with my existing Olympus 4/3's lenses. Everything works as it should, metering, focus, etc.

It is a quality item, very well built with steel in all the right places. Feels much more solid than the Olympus version (MMF-2) and it's cheaper too. So it's really a Win/Win! I couldn't be more pleased :).
