Exactly what I needed.
When I took it out of the box, my friend said the style of it resembled a horse saddle. It kind of does. And that's a good thing. Saddles are sturdy!

I use this with my Canon 40D and its lens which together weighs about 1.3kg.
For me, the 40D and lens always felt too noticeably heavy and awkward to carry, even for just 40 minutes. This is because I am a lame weakling.
But more importantly this was because up until now I've been using the strap that came with the Canon (what an annoying strap that one was, even gave me a rash)
But this Crumpler is very comfy!!!
I've adjusted it to its full length so I can wear the strap on my right shoulder and my camera hangs over to my left side, like a sash.
Great for walking around town and parks all day. The only thing I notice now is anything that I could walk into that would bash my glass.

This is a [$] strap that does relive the strain on your neck. It is made fairly well. I was hoping for a thicker padding and I think it could have been beefed up a little more. I am a professional sport photographer and It does help out a little. Overall for [$] it serves it's purpose but if you shoot a lot I suspect it will not hold up long. So my feelings are that it is an excellent value for casual and medium use but if you shoot allot all day I think something a little beefier would be what you would want.

Comments about Crumpler Industry Disgrace Neck Strap (Brown):
Super comfortable neck strap for smaller DSLR cameras. I've used it on the D5100 and D3100 and found it to be much more comfortable then the factory strap and very secure.

I bought this strap base on the review on this site, however I feel the product is overrated. There might be a marginal improvement over the strap that came with my 5Dii but not justify for the purchase.

Comments about Crumpler Industry Disgrace Neck Strap (Brown):
Very very comfortable strap.
I carried a Nikon D7000 with a 70-300 big fat zoom lens all day with the cheap Nikon supplied strap and at the end of day was so tired that was willing to throw away the camera !
This is a very comfortable strap and one can wear it on shoulder around neck sideways all day without getting tired and is long enough to quickly retrieve the camera for a quick shot.
One can also wear it like a dork with the camera on the belly :) ,no stress at all.
I Love this soft padded cushioned strap .
A must have for long all day walks if you are dragging 3+ kilos of weight around your neck.
Get one ,you'll love it !
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Comments about Crumpler Industry Disgrace Neck Strap (Brown):
It's worth the [$]. I thought it was going to be a little wider and stretchier, but the good thing is that it doesn't have plastic parts and doesn't advertise the brand of the camera. With the said, the strap that came with the camera is easier to pack in a camera bag. Also, it's not completely without logo. It has a logo that looks trendy.

Obviously, the strap is used to carry the camera around the neck. This strap was purchased for my wife. She previously had a different brand, non-Nikon, which was not really comfortable in the back of her neck. This strap solved all of her problems.

Comments about Crumpler Industry Disgrace Neck Strap (Brown):
I chose this product more out of necessity than most who are looking for a new camera strap.
I happen to be (currently) a photojournalist with a pinched nerve in the left shoulder and needed a strap which would distribute the weight of the camera and lens evenly during the physical recovery.
Crumpler may call it an "industry disgrace" but it is anything but that! Granted it doesn't tell everyone around what brand of camera you're using but vanity gets thrown out the window when that strap is causing the majority of your neck and shoulder problems.
This strap evenly distributes the weight through its padded strap (which hasn't caused a dye stain on a shirt, many others do when the padding gets hot and mixes with perspiration!) and the second layer of padding which goes around the neck, serves as an extra cushion when one stretches their neck backwards.
The strap has relieved a great deal of discomfort around the neck. It has been worth every penny I paid for it!
Just a quick note, when you put the strap on your camera, make sure you're putting the logo side of the strap on the left side, otherwise, you're putting it on backwards.
I can't think of anything bad to say about this strap.

I use the strap with my Canon EOS Rebel camera. While the camera is not very heavy, some of the lenses are. The strap is great. It is gentle on my neck and very easy to use. It wasn't the easiest strap to attach - but it holds the camera great and I don't worry that it will detach.

If you are looking for a fashionable camera neck strap, keep looking. If you are looking for a comfortable, well made strap, this is the one. I can carry my DSLR with a large lens for hours with comfort, and I am NOT advertising to others around me what brand and model of camera I am carrying.

The is absolutely the best accessory I've ever purchased for any camera gear. It's light weight, easily adjustable and most importantly extremely comfortable no matter how heavy the gear. I highly recommend this strap.

Bought this just before a 3 1/2 week trip to England, Wales and Spain and really appreciated its superior padding and comfort. Trade up to anything other than the manufacturer supplied one and you'll be grateful; trade up to this and you'll be thrilled!

Comments about Crumpler Industry Disgrace Neck Strap (Brown):
This neck strap may take some getting used to, but I have neither the time or willpower to do that. The straps were vague, at best, to connect to the camera and I soon lost interest. It now sits in my backup camera bag with all of the other poor choices I have invested in before. Sorry Crumpler, but the name fits it. "Disgrace".
