Holga 120W PC Reviews

It makes you stop and think

Unlike digital MILCs that can fire off 30 frames per second, the Holga 120 WPC makes you slow down to think abut each exposure. You only get 6 exposures using the 6x12 for each roll of 120 film, so each exposure becomes important. Also, given that it is a pinhole camera, you have to make an educated guess the appropriate shutter speed, given film ISO and lighting conditions. Obviously, long exposures necessitate a tripod and a shutter release cable. Lastly, the lack of a viewfinder means you have to estimate your composition. All in all, a fun camera to use.

Holga 120 WPC is one of three Holgas that I bought from B&H last year. I love Holga very much for non-standard,unique images. 2 images here that I shot with this camera using 6x9 mask and 135 mm film.

Are the specs accurate for the # of exp.? I'd think you'd get 12 for the 6X4.5's and 16 for the others (6X7/6X9).
Asked by: Keith
I'm pretty sure the prior answer to this question is incorrect and the product listing information needs to be updated. The Holga WPC has a 6x9 mask for 8 exposures. The mask can be removed and then the image area will be 6x12, for 6 exposures. I am almost positive there is no mask for 6x4.5, 6x6, or 6x7 for this particular camera.
