The Holga 193120 120 Wide Angle Pinhole Camera gives the photographer an inexpensive way to crank out some truly interesting effects.  With no lens, this camera can create soft focus images that take on a dreamlike appearance.  The pinhole on the front does everything for you.  Through the use of long exposures, the shooter can make images with both foreground and background sharp. In addition, colors will be richer.

Desired by art photographers the world over, the Holga Pinhole is reminiscent of the Diana camera of the 1960s and 70s.  The characteristic pinhole vignetting focuses the viewer's eye and adds to visual impact.  This camera uses 120 roll film for 16 6x4.5cm frames per roll, and comes with masks for both 6 x 7cm and 6 x 9cm images. It is the perfect pinhole camera for classroom instructions, personal image-making, and fine art photos.

No lens - Offers maximum depth of field through extremely long exposures

Comments about Holga 193120 120 Wide Angle Pinhole Camera:

Love this camera. Anyone looking to get started in pinhole photography or even panorama photography; start here. My camera was good strait from the first roll. Exposure time- I simply use a cable release and count up to 9 or 15 in day light (depending on how bright and clouds)with Fuji 100 B&W film. It's that simple! Remember to remove the masking/framing plate on the inside. I do this with all my Holgas. That way you get a full view and wonderful distorted edge. I have had problems fogging the film taking it out of the camera. As with all Holga cameras, it might not wind up the film tight enough on the roll, and light leaks on the film edge. I now change film using a dark bag. Remember to also tape up the seams of the camera back. Although I have shot without doing it and didn't have any leaks. I just don't trust the clips holding on the back especially if you are taking the camera rapidity in and out of a camera bag.http://robertgouldhistoricalartist.blogspot.com/

Cheap easy way to start out in pinhole photography. This is a plastic camera, but don't be surprised if you end up taking some absolutely fantastic photos with it on accident. I love mine.

Comments about Holga 193120 120 Wide Angle Pinhole Camera:

If you are serious about trying pinhole photography this camera is an excellent choice. Since there is no lens it's cheap construction does not affect image quality and it can produce pictures as good as pinhole cameras costing hundreds of dollars more. However achieving good results with any pinhole camera is not easy. Among other things you must deal with extremely long exposures and film reciprocity failure which makes calculating exposure times difficult. Processing 120 film is expensive and may have to be handled by mail order. It's not too difficult to load this camera with 35mm film which will allow most drugstores to process it however they will not be able to make prints. You will find yourself wanting to purchase the equipment to develop and scan the film yourself. This should not be a casual purchase despite the modest cost of the camera.

Low price low tech but lots of fun taking pictures
Only problem was setting the camera for 6X12 format. The directions are unclear and seem to be backwards. TIP: for 6X12 format set the view window with the pointer down (so you see the numbers in the middle of the film. For 6X9 format set the slider up so you read the numbers on the bottom of the film.

I use this mostly for wide angle close ups and landscape photos. I love this camera. My only issue is the "shutter" doesn't open all the way and I will need to modify it to remove the hard-edged vignette
