The Dual Camera Xacti Full 1080p HD VPC-FH1 is designed for consumers, yet features professional tendencies. Able to record natively in 1080p, (usually a film rate reserved for pro recording) this camcorder captures true high definition video at 60 frames per second. Your footage stores to external SD/SDHC flash memory cards providing ease of use to go along with that high quality video. In addition, the 1/ 2.5" CMOS sensor captures 5.3Mp video and 8Mp stills, while the 16x Advanced zoom provides wide-angle zooming with no loss in image quality.

Other perks of the FH1 include an impressive 3" LCD, Face Chaser technology, and Digital Image Stabilization.

Those looking to do more with their video will appreciate the high speed recording mode for slow motion playback. Shoot at 240fps or 600fps and the footage will play back at 1/4 or 1/10 its normal speed. This feature is especially nice for recording your child's soccer game or wildlife in the backyard.

The VPC-FH1 goes beyond the norm, offering up professional quality video at a consumer price.

• Record Full HD to Flash Memory: Record full 1920 x 1080 HD video to SD/SDHC cards. Recording to SD/SDHC flash memory cards keeps things simple and frees you up from carrying around bulky media.

• Interlaced or Progressive: With the FH1 you can record HD video in standard 1080i (interlaced) or in 1080p (progressive) at 60 frames per second for cleaner, more professional looking footage.

• 8Mp CMOS Image Sensor: Record crisp and clear 5.3Mp HD video and 8Mp photos with the FH1's 1/2.5" CMOS sensor.

• 16x Advanced Optical Zoom: The 16x Advanced Zoom lets you record far off subjects clearly and in focus with a wider view and almost no loss in image quality.

• Generous 3" LCD Display: The 3" LCD gives you a generous display on which to compose and playback your shots, not to mention an accurate view of what you're actually recording.

• 8Mp Digital Stills: The FH1 boasts 8Mp digital stills and 12Mp real-time photo output.

• Digital Image Stabilization: The Digital Image Stabilizer corrects for the age-old problem of camera shake, from an unsteady hand or a moving subject, giving you crisp, in focus shots.
