this camera is pretty good for someone who justs takes pictures for fun. in terms of user-friendlyness, it's OK. it's very slim and easy to carry, the pictures come out pretty well, and very good in low light. the batteries are awesome also, and they take very little time to charge. the zoom isnt that great, it takes a while to focus, and the red-eye reduction isnt amazing either, but you can always fix that on the computer. all in all, considering the low price, this camera is worth it! :)

I do own and use full size Canon however i have carried the FinePix for a couple years as a everyday camera due to size a picture quality. this is my third one. First one lost in line of duty while in process of rescue( crew recieved medal of valor)of victims involved in rollover accident caused by gas main explosion. camera two i damaged screen. now I am on third camera. Love it.

I bought this camera specifically to take picks of my work. It is a great buy. The choice of different settings is amazing for such a small thing. I mostly use the macro setting and, with a tripod, it saved me from buy an SLR. Recently took it to the beach and the beach setting adjusted for the sunlight. i love this camera. Very Happy with my buy.
the only bad thing is that the owner's manual is on CD.
