Ordered it to use with Canon G1X. I need something small, strong, and not in the way when not in use. It is everything I expect it to be, but the only thing keep me from giving it 5 stars is because I can pull the strap apart by the lock and it will opens up the lock. Since this requires some force, I don't see it will opens up by itself and will keep it.
I have no problem leaving te plastic cover on. This should help not letting the stap dig into my hand when carry for a long period of time.

I use these with my small cameras such as the NEX-5N, DP1X etc. I trim the blue plastic off to reveal a nice cord which is thicker than the other Olympus wrist strap but is cheaper! ;-)
Having the cinch is critical to making sure it doesn't slide off your wrist if you mishandle your camera.

Overall the strap fits my needs. It is durable and comfortable to wear. However I wish the blue rubber piece was not so large since it limits tightening the strap snug to wrist.

The blue plastic could be more flexible, softer. I guess judging from the photo on the website, I thought it wouldn't be as "plastic" for lack of a better word.
I ended up cutting it off, I just need the adjustable simple black string, which now fits my fairly small wrist much better.
Comments about Olympus Adjustable Wrist Strap Water Ready:
It shouldn't be nearly impossible in The United States of America to find something so simple as an adjustable camera wrist strap. (Seems everyone who "normally" would have them had stock issues, and that wasn't very many merchants.) It's also a bit boggling to try to imagine why any other kind (i.e., non-adjustable) is made, much less sold to people.
That said, I did finally find an adjustable strap on line at B&H. That's some of the good news. Some of the bad news is that it cost nearly as much to have the item mailed as it did to buy it.
The rest of the good news is that now I won't have to worry about my non-adjustable wrist strap slipping unhindered off my wrist, resulting in a damaged or lost camera. The rest of the bad news ("bad" being a really relative term in this case) is that I didn't need the plastic cover that came on my wrist strap, because my camera is an above-the-water-line machine, and I don't intend to take it scuba or skin diving. But it was no big deal cutting it off.
All said, I got what I wanted...after paying a bit too much to get it here.
