Comments about Kata OMB-77 One Man Band Bag, Large:
Bag is perfect for me. Large enough for my shoulder mounted camera yet portable enough to use its wheels to move about.
Love the space for the laptop.
Perfect for carrying most your gear and still be able to use as a pull bag with the add on wheels.

Comments about Kata OMB-77 One Man Band Bag, Large:
The bag is well constructed, and well thought out for the most part. I do doco work where I often do not have an assistant. Working with the Panasonic AF 100 this bag enables traveling with the camera built: follow focus, lens, IDX batteries, LED top light, wireless & Noga arm for the monitor. It permits the easy carrying of additional lenses, data management tools, charger and battery, head phones and audio tools - with the mic boom attached by the lid strap. With the dolly installed, the only other item to carry for the camera is the sticks. The side pocket holds the pop up reflector, the top compartment holds garments and audio cables. I wish it came with more diividers. The yellow interior is great on dark stages or in the back of the van.

The thing is huge. I just did a big shoot in Albany and was able to pack everything but my tripod and crane in this crazy thing.

Comments about Kata OMB-77 One Man Band Bag, Large:
I put several other gear bags, including another large camera bag with my completely-rigged dslr into the OMB! This means, for some shoots, I can carry my whole kit in one bag. Now my 26 porters can stay home and watch soap operas!
I had a minor warranty issue (small crack in insertrolley). Kata and B&H were all over it. I recommend Kata particularly for their excellent support.

Comments about Kata OMB-77 One Man Band Bag, Large:
I've been looking for a bag that could hold & protect most of my gear instead of the 4-5 bags I normally juggle. This is exactly what I was looking for.
Interior dividers are adjustable so you can customize it to fit your needs. Comes with a roller kit for easy movement. Great for my car.
Keep in mind that this is a big bag. I'm defintitely going to keep my shoulder bag for those times when I can travel light.
Highly recommend.

Comments about Kata OMB-77 One Man Band Bag, Large:
I saw this bag at NAB and eventually purchased it 9 months later.
First off, it's a really big bag. I have a traveling kit with 7 unique components. This bag replaced one and eliminated two other bags. Camcorder, 15.4 inch computer, media, 7 inch on-camera monitor, mouse, 4 external drives, small portable table, notebooks, and cords all fit in nicely. I had so much room left I was able to put a backdrop in the top open area of the bag as well! The carry strap is well-designed to make carrying a big load comfortably. The InsertTrolley shipped with the bag; it makes one of the outside end pockets inaccessable unless the trolley is removed from the bag; use this pocket for spare cables. The supplied interior sleeves work really well and are well-designed.
The design is so open that I've cut down on the amount of time it takes to set up my rig, a real plus in my profession.
There are not enough dividers supplied with the bag; plan on purchasing one of Kata's divider kits to help manage the space. I would have liked one additional interior sleeve/pocket for odds and ends; plan on purchasing an additional sleeve/pocket if you don't have a spare in another bag. These two pretty necessary expenditures were what made me rate the bag a 4 instead of a 5. I got a great deal from B&H, so I feel the bag is a great value even with the additional needed items, but if the bag is selling closer to list, I'd feel a little annoyed that I had to spend more money to make the bag really useful.
Overall, I'm extremely pleased with my purchase; my only regret is that I didn't get the bag sooner.

Comments about Kata OMB-77 One Man Band Bag, Large:
This bag is a lot bigger than I expected. I won't have any problem fitting all my equipment, photo, video, lenses and accessories in it. My one complaint, which removes one star, is that it is indeed too big to use as a carry-on bag on an airplane even though the overview states that it fits in most carry on compartments on airplanes. The website, [@] lists all carry-on size limits and this bag exceeds all those limits. Other than that issue, it's a well constructed, large bag.

Comments about Kata OMB-77 One Man Band Bag, Large:
I use this bag to carry a Panasonic HPX-370 with a power supply, 3 batteries, 7 inches monitor, microphone, cables and there is again free space. I knew it would be a bit too big, but I choose it anyway for the price. Very well done. Good quality. And you can secure your camcorder with the security belt inside. Yes I would recommend it.

Comments about Kata OMB-77 One Man Band Bag, Large:
I've had a couple of different Kata bags over the years and all I can say is that they make great products. Great build quality; very functional. This bag ended up being too big for my gear (I have a DSLR rig), so I ended up selling it. Wish it would have had more compartments/dividers for other gear.

I tricked out my Sony HVR-Z1U HDV camera with a Cavision Hard Shade Matt box kit along with a Cavision shoulder pad and rod system which, obviously, added a lot of additional size dimensions to the camera. Since I didn't want to disassemble all this (just lazy I guess) I took the measurements and set out to find a camera bag that the camera would fit into. This is the only bag I could find! And, all the accessories fit to boot! And, it has a dolly system that comes with the bag!! Bonus number one! And, it was on sale - bonus number two - and the clincher for me to purchase the bag! You wouldn't want to use this bag as "checked baggage" on a flight but it sure does the job for most storage and local shoot needs.

Comments about Kata OMB-77 One Man Band Bag, Large:
This bag is large. If you need the space to store gear, this one will do it. I have a Canon XF305 complete with Vocas Matte box and follow focus mounted together that easily stores in this bag. Plus it has room for my wide angle adapter, 4x4 filters, Wireless microphone package, shotgun mic and many batteries. The case is well contructed and I like the fact that it stands off the ground on nice rubber feet strips. Very good carry handle and the trolly is easy to install and carry the bag aws needed. Although the next size down probaly would have carried the camera just fine, I opted for the larger bag because I could carry more in it. I was tired of having several bags go on a shoot with me where now one will do. However, because Kata decided that this large bag was for longer cameras like the JVC 250, there is not a lot of extra dividers or padded pieces. It comes with a "bean bag" to help cradle a long lens, but I wish it had 2 of them - to pack around the camera body a little better. I don't use the insert in the back for a laptop, but instead found it very good for filters and a shotgun microphone. A few other positioning pieces would have made this a 5 star bag. (This seems more common with Portabrace products.) SOme people have complained about the side pockets not holding enough. They aren't able to expand and hold items as well as a Tamarac still photo bag does, but they hold cables, lens cleaning supplies, and plenty of other accessories. This doesn't really bother me because if the pockets did hold more and I packed them full, I probably never lift the darn bag. Overall it comes highly recommended.

This thing's huge! Carries my XF300, 7D with 6 lenses, all the accessories I need and with the wheels isn't terrible to lug around. I may still get a smaller bag for when both cameras aren't needed.
The dolly is a bit flimsy when the bag is fully loaded but still works fine.
Seems durable...only time will tell. Needs more dividers though.

We bought 2 of these, they are huge, have extra dividers (available seperately) to really customise the case, and have a "built in" trolly.
Huge space & quality build for not much $$

Ordered this large bag because we wanted to leave our mattebox on our Sony EX3 camera - fits perfectly with room to spare. It's also very easy to customize and has lot's of extra space for all of our batteries, wireless lav kit, shotgun mic, headphones, charger, xlr cables, bnc cables, etc.

Great Bag, very large & roomy. I use it for on location lighting, wedding lighting gear. I added my own velcro dividers from a previous bag which works great. Quality construction. Bright yellow interior makes finding items easier.

Comments about Kata OMB-77 One Man Band Bag, Large:
I bought the largest OMB bag to carry my DSLR & a lot of my accessories. While a smaller bag would probably do the job, I've been tired of carrying 3 different bags for all my camera gear. With this one bag I can fit: My DSLR w/FF and mattebox, laptop and accessories, 8 batteries, on camera LED light, headphones, slate, extra lenses, cables, etc. and I still have a lot of room left over.
The only nitpick I have is that it could use a few more storage dividers which you do have to buy separately.
