Building on the solid foundation of the RX, Elinchrom introduces the BXRi series. The Style 250 BXRi Compact MonoLight is robotically manufactured, making possible extreme precision, light weight and the addition of computer chips for software implementation. Decoding the Ri designation, the R indicates remote operation capability, while the "i" stands for Eye-cell.
A Skyport EL receiver is now built-in, meaning not only remote, wireless triggering regardless of obstructions, at distances up to 394 feet, but also powering up and down or on and off with complete control of the modeling light. Eye-Cell is particularly handy when using the BXRi with the on-board optical slave to sync cameras with pre-flash or red-eye function. The photographer simply programs the number of pre-flashes specific to the camera or lets the 250 BXRi do it automatically.
Flash duration is an extremely fast 1/2762 sec., capable of freezing action without blur. Of course, that would be academic if your strobe didn't recycle fast enough to keep up with the energy on the shoot. Elinchrom has that covered with recycling times of 1.02 sec. @ full power.
Purchasing a BXRi monohead gives you the key to one of the most extensive arrays of reflectors and light-shaping tools available, including the legendary Octa bank. Additionally, virtually every independent manufacturer of light modifiers makes Elinchrom compatible products.
Using your gear abroad can sometimes be problematic but 250 BXRi is a world-citizen, accommodating power requirements from 90-260V via auto-detection circuitry. Now you can avoid the hassles and uncertainty of overseas rental, while bringing Elinchrom quality along wherever the job is.
This Elinchrom Portalite Softbox is usually sold as part of a D-Lite 4 or D-Lite 2 Monolight Kit. It has a flush-front diffuser that measures 25.5 x 25.5" (65 x 65 cm).
The Elinchrom EL-Skyport Universal Radio Slave Transmitter is the transmitter for the EL-Skyport wireless radio slave system. The Transmitter controls basic functions of an Elinchrom RX unit to which a Receiver RX (#19353) is attached. To control all RX functions the USB Transceiver RX (#19354) and the latest EL Skyport software is required, which also offers additional features such as strobing effect.
The Transmitter synchronises remote flash units, when each is fitted with either the Universal (#19352) or the RX Receiver (#19353, fitting Style RX, Digital RX and Ranger RX units). The RX Transceiver also provides control over the power and modelling lamp of all Elinchrom RX flash units, directly from the Skyport Transmitter.
The EL-Skyport system has a studio operating range of 164' (50 m), and 394' (120 m) outdoors. Interference free operation is guaranteed with 40 bit security.
This is a Manfrotto Basic Black Light Stand that extends to a height of 9' (2.7 m). It is designed to accommodate small light fixtures, reflective panels, or small boom arms.
This item replaces old catalog #3333.
