Comments about Canon PowerShot SD1200 IS Digital Camera (Light Grey):
I specifically bought the SD 1200IS to take on a hike to the bottom of the Grand Canyon. It took fantastic shots. My daugher, who had just purchased the Rebel T2i, moaned at wasting her money when she could have owned this camera, taking crisp pictures and purchased at a great close out price. We routinely take the SD 1200IS when going anywhere but the grocery store.

Comments about Canon PowerShot SD1200 IS Digital Camera (Light Grey):
I liked the camera. Among those in the same price category, is undoubtedly the best. She has a good brightness of the photographs and, due to its stabilizer, no smudges or blurs.
I recommend the machine.

Comments about Canon PowerShot SD1200 IS Digital Camera (Light Grey):
I bought this camera to replace my OLD Nikon Coolpix 4pixel 880. It was about 5 years old. This camera has more than double the pixel power, is more intuitive to use, and has the great press the button half down to focus/see your shot thing. It's small, and at first that bothered me, but I quickly got used to it. It is handy for bringing anywhere. I use it mainly to photograph jewelry close up, and it does that very well. I only read the intro material and not the full manual but have used it successfully already. I'm sure it can do more. It is compact, effective, does what you need in a tidy package. You can see the photos of the jewelry at [@] . see how great it works!

Comments about Canon PowerShot SD1200 IS Digital Camera (Light Grey):
Love this camera! Canon has excelled way beyond the competition when it comes to point and shoot cameras. Great bang for the buck! Shoots very well outside and has better quality than my Canon SD880 IS. Shoots with less grain than competitors in low light situations without flash! Great camera to have for on the spot stock photo! Would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a great light weight travel and all purpose general use camera! Easy to use and meters the light extremely well!

We purchased this for my dad for Christmas. We needed to transition him to a digital camera from his old film camera. This great because he can put it in his pocket and take it along anywhere. So far so good and he seems happy with it.
