Upgraded from a 19inch viewsonic 5ms and a 20inch CRT 120hz monitor. This monitor is really bright, extremely colorful...

780i movies play pretty good, question the picture alittle bit at the nato resolution 1600 @ 1050, but its amazing none the less. Does have bleeding in the bottom middle on pure black screens, nothing drastic enough to bother me. Stand isnt great for adjust ability.

Gaming its a beast. Quakelive, Badcompany 2, Call of duty 4 all work perfectly

Brightness is alittle overwhelming and cant change it manually with the button. My friend has a earlier version on first release and he can. I think they changed something in the later manufacturing that made it malfunction cause reviews are all over about this problem. However, you can easily change settings with in the video settings on your desktop, so doesnt bother me what so ever.

for the price 120hz TRUE .... Monitor is awesome, no regrets.

Excellent monitor. Bought it to use for 3D with the nVidia Geforce 3D glasses. Works great. Bright, clear, rock steady, and good 3D for games, 3D video, and 3D photos.

I prefer the look of this monitor over the Samsung offering and that is the main reason why I bought this monitor. However, this monitor lacks many features.
If you are happy to do without an analogue input, then fine, but this means you cannot see anything until the driver has loaded in the os.. aka you can't access the bios which is annoying.
It would have also been nice to have access to more controls other than just volume and brightness. Otherwise, this is a good monitor! As the main selling point is 120hz input I can testify that the 3d effect when in conjuntion with the 3d vision kit is superb.
So in summary, if you want a 120hz monitor that looks good, buy it. Although you will find things that dissapoint you for the price. Otherwise, spend your money on something else, but do without 3d. On a side note, if you are planning to use the 3d vision kit, although the 3d driver nvidia suddenly cut off support for some years ago without explanation is more refined, it isn't perfect by a long way, and if you are using sli be prepared to go down to using a single gpu in most game profiles. Oh and the movie player is lacking in many features also!
Again, this all sounds quite negative, but really this product is only for the hardcore enthusiast and you've probably already made your mind up anyway.
